Comfort food @ Sugi

For over 20 years, Sugi has been one of the family favorite restaurants. We've been eating here since the 90's. Going back to memory lane, Sugi during that time was located near the stairs (which is currently in Greenbelt 5). Im sure some of you will remember those stairs were in between Pancake House and Dulcinea. Quality has been constantly good all these years, which is why we love it here.

This eggplant appetizer is our favorite.

California Maki (Special)

Kani Sarada

The California Maki and Kani Sarada are great with extra Japanese mayo.

Mini Agedashi

Chicken Terriyaki

Chicken Yakitori

Gindara in foil

Shrimp Teppanyaki

Other recommendations:
Tonkatsu (or Torikatsu if you want chicken instead of pork)
Katsu Donburi
Tori Kuwayaki
Chawan Mushi
Tempura
Okonomiyaki (Japanese pizza)
Ebi Tempura Maki
Tori Teba Nanbansuke
Uni Sashimi
Uni Maki
Tai Usuzukuri
Cha Soba

As you can see, a common favorite of the family is Japanese food. Food here is light, healthy and yummy. This is definitely comfort food.
