We were all looking forward to dinner in Old Swiss Inn since our last visit has been a while, around 2 years ago. It's one of those "immortal" establishments in the country because it's been around for decades, since 1946 to be exact. I get amused with the log cabin setting, the Swiss uniforms of the staff plus the good food. The best part is you can go there any time because it's open 24/7.
Love their bread...
and butter too!
Raclette cheese
Classic Caesar Salad with grilled chicken
Swiss Inn Reuben
Fondue Bourguignonne
-Prime beef tenderloin cubes dipped in hot oil; aka beef fondue.
The assorted sauces and condiments with the fondue.*
Cooking time... Yey!
The Fondue Bourguignonne is served with french fries. However, we requested to have it with garlic rice instead.
And the best part... Attack! My personal favorite sauces are the mayo with garlic and mayo with mustard. I'm happy I didn't experience that umay feeling after the meal.*
Other recommendations:
Goulash -their signature soup
Roesti potatoes
Sausages
Classic Toblerone Chocolate Fondue
Just some words of advice... Use your fondue fork only for cooking. Before, I used the fondue fork for eating and burned my lip. Also, keep your distance from the pot as you cook because the oil splashes and use your napkin as your "shield". Enjoy!
