But wait... there's more! (The Bandana Baker goodies continuation)

To add to The Bandana Baker goodies, Lemon cake is also available P800 for 2 loaves. Again, please give your orders early to avoid the Christmas rush. Enjoy! :D

Macaroni Salad

Christmas is weeks away and I can smell it. You will have numerous gatherings and parties by next month. You will most likely find macaroni salad in either Christmas parties or Noche Buena (click here for more details about Noche Buena). Here's my version of macaroni salad...

Ingredients
1 package elbow macaroni (cooked according to package instructions)
1 cup chicken (boiled and shredded)
5 slices ham
1 can/pouch pineapple tidbits or chunks
2 tbsp pickle relish
1 cup cheddar cheese (cubed)
1-2 tbsp white vinegar or lemon juice
1-2 cups mayonnaise
salt
pepper

Place all ingredients in a large bowl and mix.

Serve and enjoy.

Other suggested ingredients:
Bell pepper (chopped)
Carrots (chopped)
Raisins
Apples (cubed)
Walnuts
Celery
Hard boiled eggs

If in case you forget to cool the macaroni, you can just shock them by placing it in a bowl of ice water for a few seconds. This is best eaten right away because this is perishable. There are many variations for macaroni salad, depending on each one's preference. This is the perfect time to give this recipe a try. Good luck!

Korean grill @ Bulgogi Brothers

Yey to dinner at Bulgogi Brothers! Since its opening, this place was always packed. Must be good there... so I thought. Out of curiosity, Mom and I ate their some time last year. True enough... we left happy. Now we know why this place is packed all the time. I love their modern and clean ambience and the friendly and accommodating staff. For the K-Pop fanatics, you will enjoy it here because they have a big screen showing concerts of some of the most popular K-Pop stars.

There is a brief description of Bulgogi in the place mats.

Appetizer: corn, sweet potato and quail egg

condiments

Their signature salad

Premium boneless short ribs

Couldn't wait to get grilling!

Their sauces

Bulgogi Bibimbap

Sogogi Japche

Love the Barley tea! It tastes like cereal and honey.

Their lemonade was refreshing.

I was surprised with the appetizer because I was expecting a long pile of vegetables like in other Korean restaurants. Anyhow, it was all good! Korean ice creams are available here too.

As a double birthday celebration for Mom and my nephew, Enzo, they chose to have a dimsum lunch. We head to Passion in Resorts World Manila. Just with the clean and cozy ambience, you can tell it's a high end Chinese restaurant. Personally, I'm picky with Chinese food because I only enjoy a few dishes, but I have to admit all of us enjoyed our lunch... including me.

Love their ambience!
